I think to myself I should like these games because of the guns reflexes and accuracy but often I am bored with them fairly quickly. One of the contributing factors to this prevailing attitude I seem to have adopted could be that shooting games are not ideal for phones because you have to tilt to move or use your thumbs on any part of the screen to aim which, let’s face it will never be as accurate as using and feeling a joystick or a button.

The games that I tend to play over and over again on the phone seem to be games that are simple yet addictive. I am currently playing a game which won a creative award and it’s a simple 2d almost platform like game where you have to stay in front of an ever moving screen that is trying its absolute hardest to catch up to you. The landscape and the sounds of this game are nothing short of captivating which I assume is the reason why it won the design award.

There are many great lessons to learn in life. Many people tend to learn these at different rates and at different times in everyone’s individual lives. A very good lesson I have learnt, and believe me by no means have I actually mastered this by any stretch of the imagination, is that everybody is equal and on their own journey of realisation and discovery.

Now I know this sounds perhaps a little obvious but bear with me. When I walked into a room not too long ago my egoic mind immediately rushed and wanted me to judge all the people in the room and brand them all ‘geeks’ or ‘nerds’ purely because of the activity in which they were taking apart in. As soon as I walked in I caught my subconscious trying to form this opinion for me but I very quickly and vehemently told it to stop. Our minds and subconscious minds are trained from an extremely early age to deem things or people as cool or not cool. We as humans have been conditioned by the media to treat sport and music stars as worthy people to worship.

In actual fact as I walk in and see a room full of people who in pop culture would be deemed unworthy, and I see lovely people who are polite and wouldn’t hurt a fly. In fact a lot of these people would do the opposite and some will do great research which could in some way help humanity.

I think one day I would like to live in manly. It has a lot of things there that I would like. The weather is always nice and warm so that would be good. I would also be able to start to take up surfing. I think surfing would be fun because the few time I have stood up on waves I have had a really great time. It feels like such an achievement and it actually is really fun. It’s also a great workout as well! I enjoy the challenge of pushing out against the waves and constantly having the unforgiving ocean crash down and smash against my nimble board. I think those are the two main things I would like about moving to Manly and or Sydney. It would be the beach and the surfing. Apart from that, there is not much else I would overly like about moving to Sydney.  I mean that in no way what so ever in terms of Manly being bad it would just be a very similar lifestyle to what I have in Melbourne.

There are many things I like about Melbourne. I love the football culture in Melbourne. I love how I can turn the radio almost any time of the day and actually listen to something that’s happening in football. But I suppose these days that with the internet and Foxtel it wouldn’t be that much of an issue keeping up to date with various things. I’m pretty sure I could get work easily enough as well at least as an emergency teacher to start and eventually as a full time teacher.

I think it is a very interesting concept and idea to think that the way to enlightenment is through love and forgiveness. I couldn’t agree more. I often think of the quote that says, wait I can’t remember it. I’m sure it will come to me shortly, I hope it does. I find it very hard to like and forgive a couple of people I know in my life at the moment. I understand that it’s my ego which causes me to dislike them but I still find it extremely hard to truly forgive and love these people. The thing that has helped me with that recently is having heard that we are in other people. What that means is that if you are concentrating, in the people we don’t particularly like, once we have a good look, we can see ourselves in them. A good quote but not the one I was trying to think of before was if you walked a mile in their shoes. Often I look at these particular people and I wonder if I have the same upbringing that I would probably be just as miserable and grumpy as they are.

The other interesting thing about these particular people is as I head the other day on this clip I was listening to, the universe keeps manifesting the same problem/same sort of person until you deal with not them, but your own attitude toward them. This has been the case for me with a few different older people I have had a couple of run INS with lately. I must continue to work on love and forgiveness!

I know that I am going to have this feeling before I start really getting stuck into the junk food but alas, I keep going back to the same stage and not being able to resist, start the cycle again. I do however enjoy feeling really healthy which I am proud to say I do feel most of the time!
